Gala Dinner Jom Kurus bersama Kevin Zahri

Assalamualaikum

Final program "Jomkurus 1 Malaysia" bersama Kevin Zahri untuk musim ke tiga berlangsung pada 8 oktober 2014 di Canada Place, Kuala Lumpur.
Tujuan utama dinner ini diadakan untuk merai TOP 50 bagi satu Malaysia yang menyertai program jom kurus ni. Alhamdulillah nama i tersenarai jugak tau.ヽ(^。^)ノ
Agaknye nombor ke 50 kot. hihihi
Dari kawasan kami iaitu Shah alam seramai 5 orang yang layak memasuki Top 50.
Antara yang tersenarai dalam TOP 50:
Juara dan naib juara kategori lelaki.
Juara, naib juara dan ketiga kategori wanita.
(No.3 peringkat shah alam tu i ler... hihihi.)

Program Jom kurus ni bermula pada 13 september 2014 dan berakhir pada 25 oktober 2014.
Banyak suka duka perit jerih sepanjang program ni tau. Ye la majoriti dari kami adalah kategori comel overload atau dalam erti kata lainnya "obesiti"...
Setiap aktiviti memang mengah, semput, semua ada. Untuk minggu pertama dan kedua je kami macam tu, minggu seterusnya kami dah build lebih stamina.
Semua ni hasil bimbingan coach kesayangan kami, coach ezuwan dan isteri beliau kak fadzilah (kak xie).
Ketika dinner suasana yg sangat menyentuh hati dan kami sebak adalah ketika menghayati bacaan doa. Terlalu banyak kenangan sepanjang program bersama kawan-kawan.
Tanpa coach kevin zahri dan coach ezuwan yang memberi ilmu dan tunjuk ajar, agaknya kami masih di hina masyarakat disebabkan Kegemukan. Agakknya kami masih memakai baju yang besar. Sedih plak tetiba... huhuhuhu
Hanya orang yang pernah gemuk faham perasaan kami. T_T

Selepas bacaan doa, Ucapan khas dari Coach Kevin Zahri. Banyak pahala beliau kan, tanpa badan kerajaan dan badan swasta beliau dan semua peserta berjaya jayakan Program Jom Kurus 1 Malaysia (JK1M).
Setiap kali kevin zahri beri ucapan, kami semakin bersemangat untuk turunkan berat badan kepada berat yang lebih ideal bagi diri kami dan lebih nak badan kami fit. No geleber sana sini... Selepas ini hanya healthy lifestyle je yang kami pilih.

Semasa dinner ni jugak kevin zahri ada nobatkan pemenang tempat pertama, kedua dan ke tiga kategori wanita dan lelaki.
Dalam TOP 50 ni seramai 6 orang dipilih. Alhamdulillah walaupun bukan iff yang capai kemenangan tapi Naib juara dan ke-tiga kategori lelaki milik peserta dari kawasan Shah alam. Tahniah buat coach ezuwan dan sehabat-sahabat ku yang merangkul kemenangan.
Pemenang yang hantar gambar terbaik jugak diumumkan. Shah alam dapat tempat kedua..
Memang riuh rendah la team shah alam, asik menang je. hihihi

Selain itu, ada aktiviti persembahan nyanyian.
Sambil menikmati juada dinner kami dihiburkan oleh peserta yang sukarela ingin menyumbangkan suara.
Kevin zahri juga buat suprise kepada staf beliau yang banyak membantu beliau. Staf kevin zahri ada sorang je, si kaka tu la. Kevin hadiahkan i phone 6 pada kaka. Best nye!!!!
Bayangkan semua aktiviti dan pengurusan hanya kevin zahri dan kaka je yang uruskan. Memang hebat kan!.
Aktiviti last kami adalah ntanyian bebas dan bergambar. Sesiapa pun boleh sumbangkan suara. I tak nyanyi la sebab i gila lensa, asik nak snap pic je kejenye.
Team dari Shah alam adalah peserta terakhir yang keluar dari dewan dinner. Hihihi
Insyaallah kalau ada rezeki, saya akan join lagi program ini pada musim akan datang.

Heart Attack and Water

How many folks do you know who say they don't want to drink anything before going to bed because they'll have to get up during the night  ??? Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this! Interesting.......

Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why do people need to urinate so much at night
time.

Answer from my Cardiac Doctor - Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are standing (legs swell).
When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc.) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement!

I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me.

I can also add to this... My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps.

Body Fat
The total body fat mass is calculated by summing up the essential fat (or primary fat) and the spare fat (or storage fat). The essential fat is necessary for the metabolism and some spare fat, which is theoretically surplus, is necessary for those who carry out physical activities. Therefore, the normal percentage of fat mass on the body weight is approximately 16 % for men and 27 % for women.

Body Water
For a correct control of one's ideal weight, it is important, in addition to the weight, to compare the body fat and body water percentage. The body water % is an important indication of the overall «well being» of a human being as water is the single most important component of body weight and represents more than half (about 60 %) of the total weight. Bone Mass
Bone mass increases rapidly in childhood and reaches its maximum between 30 and 40 years.It decreases slightly afterwards with increasing age. Muscle mass

Body Mass Index
The body mass index (BMI) is a simple index of weight-for-height that is commonly used to classify underweight, overweight and obesity in adults. It is calculated by dividing the body weight in kg by the square of the height in m of a person. However, it overestimates fatness in people who are muscular or athletic. According to the WHO the BMI Classification is as follows:

Normal: 18.50-24.99 kg/m2
Underweight: under 18.50 kg/m2
Overweight: over 24.99 kg/m2
Obese: over 29.99 kg/m2

Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) in kcal
BMR is the amount of energy required by the body when in a state of complete rest to maintain its basic functions. About 70 % of a human's total energy expenditure is due to the basal life processes within the organs of the body. About 20% of one's energy expenditure comes from physical activity and another 10% from the digestion of food. An estimation can be acquired through an equation using age, sex, height, and weight. The estimation method used is the scientifically recognised HARRIS-BENEDICT formula.
